First put on a pair of gloves and rework soil between hands to reconstitute. Then you’re all set!
Planting out Roses, Trees or Shrubs
- Dig a hole twice the depth and diameter of the root ball.
- Mix 1 part soil improver with 5 parts soil and add to the hole.
- Place the plant in the hole, fill gaps with compost, firm down, and water.
Improving soil structure/soil fertility
- Spread 3-4cm deep over the soil surface.
- Using a fork work into the top 15 20cm of the soil surface.
- Improves drainage in clay soils and enhances structure in sandy soils.
Mulching beds & borders
- Apply a thick layer 3-4cmdeep over soil surface.
- Spread evenly around the existing plants.
General Advice
- Use in a well ventilated place and avoid breathing in dust
- Always wear gloves when gardening and wash hands after use
- Rework soil between hands before use to reconstitute
