Overview

Trachelospermum jasminoides, commonly known as Star Jasmine or Confederate Jasmine, is a beautiful evergreen climber valued for its glossy foliage and wonderfully fragrant white flowers. Supplied already trained over an arch and standing approximately 250cm tall, it creates an immediate architectural feature for patios, courtyards and garden entrances.

Position

Plant in full sun or partial shade in a sheltered position. A warm wall, doorway or patio provides ideal conditions for flowering and healthy evergreen growth.

Soil

Watering

Water regularly during the establishment period and throughout dry weather, particularly for container-grown plants. Avoid prolonged waterlogging.

Pruning

Prune after flowering to maintain the shape of the arch and keep growth neat. Tie in new shoots where necessary to maintain even coverage of the frame.
