Overview
Tradescantia 'Sweetness'® is a compact indoor foliage plant with softly striped leaves in green, cream and pink. Its creeping stems gradually trail over the edge of the pot, making it well suited to a small shelf, grouped display or decorative cover pot.
Bright indirect light helps maintain the strongest variegation. Small white flowers may appear in spring or summer, although the coloured foliage is the main feature.

Indoor Care
Place in bright indirect light, away from prolonged strong midday sun. Water when the top layer of compost has dried, then allow surplus water to drain fully. Do not leave the nursery pot standing in water.
Keep in a warm, stable room away from cold draughts. Moderate household humidity is suitable. Pinch back growing tips when needed to encourage a fuller plant and remove tired stems at the base.

Tradescantia can be harmful to cats and dogs if chewed and its sap may irritate sensitive skin. Keep the plant out of reach of pets and wash your hands after pruning.
