How to Use

Position the trellis against a suitable wall, fence or other secure garden structure and attach it firmly using appropriate outdoor screws or ties.

Plant climbing flowers or other suitable climbers at the base of the panel. Guide developing stems towards the square lattice, securing them gently with soft garden twine or suitable plant ties where additional training is required.

This 1.8m × 0.6m Gardman Heavy Duty Trellis Panel uses a fixed square-lattice design and should not be confused with Gardman's lighter riveted or expanding trellis products.

Its 60cm width gives climbing plants more horizontal growing space than the narrower 1.8m × 0.3m heavy-duty panel while retaining the same useful 1.8m height.

As plants mature, their weight and wind resistance can increase considerably. Check both the trellis and its wall or fence fixings periodically to ensure the complete support remains secure.

Care & Maintenance

Check the panel and its fixings periodically, particularly after strong winds and as climbing plants become established.

Inspect plant ties as stems thicken and loosen or reposition them where necessary.

Outdoor timber will naturally weather with age. Periodically inspect the trellis and replace or repair it if deterioration prevents it from providing reliable plant support.
