Verbena bonariensis 'Lollipop' – 3 Litre Pot
Plant Highlights: Compact form of Verbena bonariensis • Clusters of violet-purple flowers • Long flowering season • Highly attractive to bees and butterflies • Ideal for borders and containers
Overview
Verbena bonariensis 'Lollipop' is a compact selection of the popular purpletop vervain, offering the same airy clusters of violet-purple flowers on slender, upright stems but with a naturally shorter, bushier habit. Flowering from summer well into autumn, it adds colour and movement without dominating neighbouring plants.
Its compact size makes it particularly well suited to smaller gardens, patio containers and the front or middle of sunny borders, where it blends effortlessly with ornamental grasses, salvias, echinaceas and other late-flowering perennials.

Growing Guide
Plant in a sunny position with well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, then only during prolonged dry spells. Good drainage is especially important during winter to help maintain healthy plants.
Remove faded flower heads to encourage continued flowering and cut back old stems in late winter or early spring as new growth begins. Leaving the seed heads in place over winter can add seasonal interest to the garden.
Why We Love It
'Lollipop' offers all the charm of the species in a more manageable size, making it easier to incorporate into smaller planting schemes and containers. Its airy flower heads create a naturalistic effect, weaving beautifully through surrounding perennials without obscuring them.
Wildlife
The nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects, providing a valuable food source throughout the flowering season.
