Overview

Westland Growmore 1.5kg is a complete, ready-to-use granular fertiliser for feeding plants throughout the garden. Its balanced NPK 7-7-7 formulation supplies nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in equal proportions, supporting healthy foliage, strong roots, flowering and productive growth.

The new and improved Growmore formula is enriched with seaweed and is designed for immediate nutrient release and efficient plant uptake. It also supports beneficial soil microbes, helping nutrients break down into forms plants can readily use.

Suitable for flowers, fruit, vegetables, shrubs and lawns, Growmore can be incorporated into soil before planting, applied around established plants or used to help replenish soil fertility.

How to Use

One handful of Westland Growmore is approximately 35g.

Apply every 4–6 weeks from February until the end of October. Growmore can be used as a top dressing on the soil surface or worked into the soil as a base dressing.

During dry weather, water before and after application.

Vegetables – Before Planting

Apply 135g/m² as a base dressing and work thoroughly into the soil before planting.

Established Vegetables

Apply 70g/m² as a top dressing and work into the soil.

Potatoes

Apply 210g/m² as a base dressing before planting.

Fruit, Trees, Shrubs & Borders

Apply 135g/m² around established plants.

Gently fork the granules into the soil surface without disturbing roots, or distribute them around the plant and water thoroughly.

When planting, apply 135g/m² into the planting area and mix thoroughly with soil and compost while backfilling.

Flowers

Apply 70g/m² to the soil surface and lightly fork in.

Keep granules away from plant leaves and stems, then water thoroughly after application.

Lawns

Apply 32g/m² every 4–6 weeks.

Spread as evenly as possible across the lawn and follow the current pack directions for watering and application conditions.

Good to Know

The current Westland Growmore is the new formulation with added seaweed. Older packs without added seaweed may still be found in circulation, so the packaging should be checked when identifying existing stock.

Growmore is not recommended for ericaceous, lime-hating or acid-loving plants.

Use only where there is a recognised need and do not exceed the recommended application rate, as excessive fertiliser can damage plants.

Westland states that children and pets can return to treated areas immediately after application.

Safety & Storage

Store in a dry, frost-free place, away from children, pets and foodstuffs.

Wash hands and exposed skin after use. Gloves are recommended when handling the product.

Avoid allowing granules to remain directly on plant foliage or stems. If too much product is accidentally applied, remove visible granules and water the area heavily to help dissolve and wash through the excess.
