How to Use

Position the trellis where it can provide suitable support for your chosen plants. It can be used against walls, fences or other secure garden structures.

Fix the panel securely using appropriate outdoor fixings for the supporting surface. When mounting against a solid wall, leaving a suitable gap behind the trellis can make it easier for climbing stems to grow through and around the framework.

Plant suitable climbers at the base and gently guide developing shoots onto the trellis. Use soft garden twine or plant ties where additional training is required.

Check ties periodically as stems develop and loosen or reposition them before they become restrictive.

Care & Maintenance

Ensure the trellis remains securely fixed, particularly after periods of strong wind.

Check climbing plants and ties during the growing season and adjust them as stems develop.

Natural willow will gradually weather outdoors. Periodically inspect the frame and woven sections and replace the panel if deterioration means it can no longer support plants securely.
