Overview
Wisteria sinensis Mix is a selection of established Chinese Wisterias supplied as mature climbing plants. As this is a mixed assortment, the flower colour will vary between plants, but each produces the elegant, pendulous racemes and sweet fragrance that make wisterias among the most admired flowering climbers.
Ideal for covering pergolas, arches, sturdy trellises and sunny walls, these vigorous deciduous climbers provide spectacular seasonal displays once established. Their twining stems and fresh green foliage create attractive cover throughout the growing season before the leaves are shed in autumn.

Growing Guide
Plant in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. The best flowering is achieved in full sun. Provide a strong permanent support, such as a pergola, wall wires or a substantial trellis, as mature plants become heavy over time.
Water regularly during the first growing season while the plant establishes. Once established, additional watering is generally only required during prolonged dry spells.
Pruning
Prune twice each year to maintain shape and encourage flowering. Shorten long, whippy shoots in summer, then prune them back again in late winter to help develop flowering spurs for the following season.
Wildlife
The fragrant flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects when in bloom.
