Its structured stems and neat appearance make it a popular choice for adding greenery to homes and workplaces without requiring constant attention.
Supplied with 10 petioles, this plant creates a full, balanced display in a 17cm pot while maintaining the compact, tidy character that makes ZZ plants so useful for shelves, desks, side tables and larger indoor displays. The evergreen foliage remains attractive throughout the year when grown in suitable indoor conditions.

Growing Guide
Light
Place in bright, indirect light for the strongest growth and healthiest foliage. Zamioculcas zamiifolia also tolerates lower light positions, although growth is typically slower. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight through glass, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering
Allow the compost to dry between waterings. ZZ Plants are much more tolerant of occasional dryness than overwatering, so never allow the compost to remain constantly wet. Always empty excess water from saucers or decorative pots.
Compost and Feeding
Use a free-draining indoor plant compost in a pot with drainage holes. Feed occasionally during the growing season with a balanced houseplant fertiliser, following the manufacturer's instructions.
Temperature
Grow in normal indoor temperatures and protect from cold draughts. Avoid placing the plant beside radiators or other strong heat sources that can dry the foliage.
Routine Care
Wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust and maintain their natural shine. Remove yellowing or damaged leaves at the base and repot only when the plant becomes root-bound.

Good to Know
The ZZ Plant is naturally slow growing and is valued for its dependable evergreen foliage rather than rapid growth. All parts of the plant contain calcium oxalate crystals and are toxic if ingested by people or pets, so position it safely away from children and animals.
