An excellent maincrop variety with long, large, high quality, conical roots with a fine, even, internal colour. Highly recommended for eating fresh or winter storage. Ideal grown for the heavyweight class at local shows.
Sow thinly, 1cm (¼in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart.
Thin seedlings carefully when large enough to handle, to reduce risk of carrot root fly attack.
