Aeschynanthus 'Mona Lisa', commonly known as the Lipstick Plant, is a beautiful trailing houseplant with glossy green leaves and vibrant scarlet-red tubular flowers that emerge from darker buds, giving rise to its distinctive common name. Its naturally cascading habit makes it an excellent choice for hanging baskets, high shelves and plant hangers where the stems can spill gracefully over the sides.
Flowering mainly from late spring through summer, and often again under good indoor conditions, 'Mona Lisa' brings long-lasting colour as well as attractive evergreen foliage. It is an excellent choice for bright interiors with moderate to high humidity.
