Aglaonema 'Silverado', commonly known as Chinese Evergreen, is a striking indoor foliage plant grown for its broad leaves, beautifully patterned with silvery-grey and deep green markings. Growing Guide
Indoor Placement
Place in bright, indirect light for the best leaf colour, although it will also cope well in lower-light rooms. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage.
Watering
Water when the top few centimetres of compost feel dry. Allow excess water to drain away and avoid leaving the pot sitting in water.
Humidity
Average household humidity is usually sufficient, though the plant will appreciate slightly higher humidity in warm indoor environments. Keep it away from cold draughts and radiators.
Feeding
Feed monthly with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser during spring and summer. Reduce feeding during autumn and winter as growth slows.
