Asparagus Fern - Indoor Plant

There are several varieties of Asparagus Fern that can be grown as a houseplant. Asparagus Ferns have attractive, delicate feathery foliage and, although they are known as ferns, they are in fact part of the Lily family. The name Asparagus Fern comes from the fact that new growth looks a bit like tiny asparagus spears.

Supplied in a 12cm pot, these plants will stand approx 20cm tall

Key Features:

• Foliage: Lacey, delicate 
• Height: 5cm-40cm
• Best placement: A humid area such as a kitchen or bathroom, bright but not in direct sun
• Care requirements: Needs bright indirect light and to be kept well watered. Humidity would be appreciated.

Asparagus ferns are easy to grow, provided they are kept out of direct sunshine, have some humidity and are kept well watered in warm weather.
