Beaucarnea Recurvata - Indoor Plant

Beaucarnea recurvata, commonly known as the Ponytail Palm or Elephant Foot Tree, is a distinctive and popular plant both for indoor and outdoor gardening. It is characterized by its swollen, bulbous base, often likened to an elephant’s foot, which tapers into a slender, upright stem. From the top of the stem grows a crown of long, cascading leaves that resemble a ponytail, giving the plant its common name.

Supplied in a 12cm pot, plant stands approx 20cm

• Foliage: Bunches of thin cuved leaves form at the top of the plant
• Height: 1-6 foot
• Best placement: Brightest spot you can find
• Care requirements: Fully soak soil on rare occasions. eg once every 2 months. Sest in full sun

Beaucarnea are extremely easy care but also extremely slow growing. It can take 5 years for a 1 foot plant to double its size.
