Growing Guide
Place in bright, indirect light and avoid prolonged direct sunshine, which can damage the decorative foliage. Keep the compost lightly moist, allowing only the surface to dry slightly before watering again. Avoid both prolonged dryness and waterlogged compost.
Calatheas thrive in warm rooms with higher humidity, making them excellent choices for naturally lit bathrooms and kitchens. Feed occasionally during the growing season with a balanced houseplant fertiliser at half strength.
