Carrot Fly Away F1 Hybrid

A unique carrot with low levels of a chemical that carrot fly larvae need for survival. This means they avoid it like the plague. Bad for them, great for the gardener! Heavy crops of slender, richly coloured, sweet carrots are a further bonus.

Sow thinly, 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Can be sown in containers in the greenhouse from February to April at 21ºC (70ºF).

Thin seedlings carefully when large enough to handle to 2cm (1in) apart to further reduce the risk of carrot root fly attack. Roots should be ready to lift about 10 weeks from sowing.
