Chlorophytum comosum 'Ocean' is a compact cultivar of the popular Spider Plant, grown for its attractive arching foliage with rich green centres and creamy white margins. Smaller than many traditional Spider Plant varieties, it is an excellent choice for desks, shelves, windowsills and other spaces where a neat, compact plant is preferred.

Place in bright, indirect light for the best foliage colour, although it will tolerate lighter shade. Water when the top layer of compost feels dry, allowing excess water to drain away. Reduce watering during the cooler, darker months when growth naturally slows.

Feed occasionally during the growing season with a balanced houseplant fertiliser. Repot only when the plant becomes root-bound.
