Philodendron – Philodendron scandens ‘Brasil’

With a naturally trailing shape, it’s ideal for softening edges on bookcases, walls, and high shelves. Its trailing growth looks best when allowed to spill naturally over the edge of a pot or basket.

Bright, indirect light keeps growth compact; lower light tends to slow growth and increase spacing between leaves. Water when the top few centimetres of compost are dry, and avoid leaving the pot standing in water.

A great pick for adding greenery without taking up floor space.

A good choice if you’re happy to keep an eye on light and watering. Can put on noticeable growth once settled in the right spot. Not considered pet-safe, so best kept out of reach of pets.
