Liatris spicata are a low-maintenance perennial plant, commonly called 'Blazing Star' or 'Gayfeather', known for its tall, upright spikes of purple-pink flowers that bloom from top to bottom in late summer. It is characterized by its bottlebrush-like flower spikes and grass-like foliage, which add vertical interest to garden beds and borders. A pollinator-friendly plant, it is easy to grow in full sun with well-drained soil and makes an excellent cut flower.
